The KJ7 Education Foundation\u2019s Discovery Grant Program enables Students (individually or in groups) to plan and pursue independent learning projects of their own design.\u00a0 The program strives to promote academic curiosity, exploration, problem-solving and motivation for learning.\u00a0 This opportunity is open to district students of all ages, who may apply for grants of up to $100 (and beyond under special circumstances).\u00a0 Students are expected to work on their own time to the extent possible, and to recruit a teacher or advisor as a project advisor who will assist them in developing their proposal and serve as a mentor for the project.<\/p>\n
Granting Cycle:<\/strong><\/p>\n Discovery Student Grants may be submitted any time during the school year and we encourage applications for projects that will take place over summer break as well.<\/p>\n<\/div>
